In the southwestern part of the island of Sao Miguel, you will find this impressive thermal water pool: Ponta do Ferraria. It is one of the most curious places in Sao Miguel, and its main attraction lies in being in a small sea cove through which a volcanic tube passes, which causes the water to heat, and you can bathe in the thermal sea waters.
